Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data neweradigitaltraining.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who we are

New Era Digital Training is a trading name of New Era Digital Consultancy Limited, a private company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre under commercial licence CL6735. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

Our registered address is IH-00-01-02-OF-01, Level 2, Innovation Hub, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

For anything to do with your data, including the rights listed below, email [email protected].

Which law applies

We are established in the DIFC, so we are regulated primarily under the DIFC Data Protection Law (DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020) and supervised by the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection.

We also work with clients in the UK and Europe. Where we offer services to people there, UK and EU data protection law applies to that activity as well, and we honour the rights it gives you. The two regimes ask for much the same things, so in practice you get the same protections either way.

What we collect, and when

When you request a proposal or contact us

If you fill in the enquiry form on our Request a Proposal page, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, organisation, job title, the topics you are interested in, your timeframe, group size, preferred delivery format, anything you write in the free text field, and any document you choose to attach.

Alongside that, the form records your IP address and, if you arrived from a campaign link, the campaign parameters in that link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and similar) and the page you first landed on. We use these to understand which marketing actually works, and to spot spam submissions.

If you email us, message us on WhatsApp or connect on LinkedIn instead, we hold whatever you send us in those accounts.

When you just visit

We use two analytics tools to see how the site is used:

  • Clicky Analytics, a third party service operated by Roxr Software Ltd. It records pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, browser and device. See the Clicky privacy policy.
  • Zorro Analytics, which we run ourselves on our own server. The data it collects does not leave our infrastructure and is not sold, shared or used for advertising.

Our web server also keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When they do, your browser contacts Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address. Google’s handling of that is covered by the Google privacy policy.

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data to anyone.

  • Campaign cookies. If you arrive via a campaign link, we store the campaign parameters and your landing page in cookies for 30 days, so that an enquiry made later can be attributed to the right source.
  • Analytics cookies. Clicky sets cookies to distinguish returning visitors from new ones.
  • WordPress cookies. Only relevant if you log in to the site as an administrator.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.

Why we are allowed to hold it

  • Legitimate interests. Responding to an enquiry you sent us, keeping a record of business conversations, keeping the site secure, and understanding in aggregate how the site is used.
  • Contract. Where we go on to deliver training or advisory work for you, we process what we need to in order to do that work and invoice for it.
  • Legal obligation. Financial and corporate records are kept for as long as UAE and DIFC law requires.

Who sees it

Enquiries are stored in this site’s own database and emailed to us. Beyond that, your data is only handled by the providers we rely on to run the business:

  • Microsoft 365, for email and documents
  • Our hosting provider, for the server this site runs on
  • Clicky Analytics, as described above

We operate from the UAE, and the providers above are international, so your data may be processed in the UAE, the UK, the European Union or the United States. Where data moves between those places we rely on the safeguards the relevant law requires: the transfer rules in the DIFC Data Protection Law, and, where UK or EU law applies, an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries. Kept while the conversation is live and for up to three years afterwards, so that we can pick up a thread that goes quiet and comes back. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.
  • Attachments you upload. Held only long enough to reach us by email, then removed from the server.
  • Analytics and server logs. Typically retained for up to 12 months.
  • Client and financial records. At least five years, as UAE and DIFC law requires.

Your rights

Under the DIFC Data Protection Law, and under UK or EU data protection law where it applies to you, you can ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to what we do with it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, including any marketing.

Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection at difc.ae. If you are in the UK, you can instead complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and the professionals who work in them. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page and the date at the top changes with it.
